Take Action Now!Tell Congress What You Want in the Reauthorized Workforce Investment Act December 28, 2009 Ahead of the new year, ProLiteracy is joining with the National Coalition for Literacy (NCL) to request that you tell your Members of Congress what you want to see in a reauthorized Workforce Investment Act. As you know, we expect to see Congress take action on reauthorization early in the new year, and we expect important changes to be considered under Title II of WIA, the Adult Education and Family Literacy Act. Please take a moment before the end of the year to send an e-mail message to your Members of Congress using ProLiteracy's CapWiz e-mail program. As always, ProLiteracy has provided a sample message for you to adapt and send. ProLiteracy's public policy positions on WIA reauthorization and your input were used to develop this sample message.
