ProLiteracy Recently on Two Radio Programs
David C. Harvey, CEO and president of ProLiteracy, was interviewed for a radio segment about adult literacy and basic education in the San Diego area that aired June 13, 2011, on KOGO, an a.m. talk radio show in San Diego, California. Joining Harvey was Jose L. Cruz, CEO of San Diego Council on Literacy, a ProLiteracy member organization.
Additionally, the Florida-based radio program Growing Bolder featured ProLiteracy board member and adult learner John Zickefoose on its show June 11, 2011. The segment detailed Zickefoose’s story of learning to read as an adult.
