ProLiteracy Vice President Quoted in New Mexico Newspaper
Jane Hugo, vice president for programs and professional services at ProLiteracy, was quoted in a June 4, 2011, article in the Daily Times (Farmington, New Mexico) about summer reading programs and their impact on literacy. The article detailed a campaign by the local public library that encourages people to read between six (adults) and 15 (children) books over the summer. Hugo contributed to the article by emphasizing the important role libraries play for children, adults, and families in literacy.
