Online Registration Now Open for the United States Conference on Adult Literacy

Online registration is now open for the inaugural United States Conference on Adult Literacy (USCAL), November 2-5, in Houston, Texas! Join hundreds of adult literacy and basic education professionals from all over the United States in Houston for the one-of-a-kind event. Registrations are also being accepted via mail and fax.

In addition to more than 125 workshops and presentations, USCAL will feature a keynote address by Barbara Bush, former first lady of the United States and founder of the Barbara Bush Foundation for Family Literacy.

USCAL, a partnership between ProLiteracy and 26 national organizations, will address challenges related to funding and changing public policy, with a focus on how to promote innovation and build collaborations among programs and providers. USCAL will also provide innovative and exciting professional development opportunities to improve core skills for the adult literacy and basic education professional.

The conference schedule, travel and accommodation information, and fees associated with registration can be found at USCAL.org.
