Apply Now for Grants from Dollar General Literacy Foundation 

Applications for the 2012 Adult Literacy Grants are now available from The Dollar General Literacy Foundation.

Dollar General Literacy Foundation Adult Literacy Grants award funding to nonprofit organizations that provide direct service to adults in need of literacy assistance. Organizations must provide help in one of the following instructional areas:

  • Adult Basic Education
  • GED Preparation
  • English Language Acquisition

Grant applications are due by February 28, 2012. Awards will be announced on May 10, 2012. The maximum grant amount is $15,000.

Dollar General Literacy Foundation grants are available to qualifying nonprofit organizations in the 38-state market area where Dollar General stores are located.
