Thank you! Because of you, we raised $10,235 for our National Book Fund. Our goal this year was $10,000 and we are grateful for those of you who helped us exceed this goal.
Every year, the National Book Fund helps literacy programs respond to the dramatic need for basic literacy services by providing high-quality instructional materials related to basic literacy, adult basic education, English language learning, and family literacy to adults, youths, and children around the nation.
Since its inception in 1995, ProLiteracy’s National Book Fund has given more than 1,500 grants to adult literacy organizations and helped more than 384,000 people improve their reading skills. More than 35,000 tutors and literacy volunteers have been supplied with the resources they need to provide direct literacy instruction to students.
Again, thank you for helping us reach even more people through the National Book Fund.
