New Readers Press, the publishing division of ProLiteracy Worldwide, is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing quality educational materials to adult literacy programs and individuals across the globe. We are seeking a Marketing and Sales Associate to assist with developing and executing on key marketing strategies and campaigns as we transform into a full-solution provider of both print and digital curriculum materials to serve today’s adult learners. General Summary:

The marketing and sales associate will partner with internal stakeholders to develop and execute on key marketing strategies, including marketing collateral, social media, and digital marketing campaigns; and support the sales team with promotional activities that will drive business results.


What you will do in this role:

·         Collaborate across teams to plan and develop marketing collateral, sales support materials, and product presentations

·         Coordinate registration and materials for conference exhibits

·         Develop website and social media content

·         Assist in planning and executing digital marketing campaigns

·         Monitor and analyze data analytics from website, social media, and digital campaigns, and make recommendations

·         Generate, synthesize, and distribute monthly and quarterly sales reports

·         Assist in planning and coordinating annual sales meeting

·         Support sales team with product and promotional updates and regional promotional activities

·         Manage department budget and expenditures

·         Some travel to events will be required


What we are looking for:

·         Bachelor’s degree

·         3+ years’ experience in marketing, advertising, or sales support

·         Able to write and edit engaging content and communications for a variety of channels

·         Experience with Salesforce, Google Analytics, and Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint

·         Experience with social media platforms and digital marketing best practices

·         Excellent communication, analytical, and time-management skills

·         Creative, self-starter with an excellent work ethic and can-do attitude

·         Organized with a strong attention to detail
