Description

Clerks take in and send out shipments, keep records, make sure shipments are correct, get items ready to send out, unpack items that come in, and address, stamp, and send items.

  • Keep records on shipments. Keep track of how much they weigh and how much space they fill. Keep track of charges. Note any problems.
  • Make sure shipments include the right items. Compare to records, forms, and orders.
  • Talk to or write to buyers to solve shipping problems. Deal with broken or missing items, and more.
