Each woman in the Lancôme Write Her Future Institute has a unique story, but they all share a common goal of improving their English literacy.

Here is the story of an extraordinary woman learning English through Voxy.

These are the words of Chai Cherng Pon:
I am Chai Cherng Pon from Malaysia. I have been living in United States two years. I was a high school teacher back home. I had quit my career after I moved to United States because my husband working at here. After moving to this new country, I desired to continues my career as a teacher. But I face language barrier, I can’t communicate English confidently and fluently. Since Covid-19 Pandemic, all school were closed, and I can’t go to work and attend classes. I felt so stressed about the lockdown. I am not motivated learning English because I felt I had lost the chances to go out to meet people and to practice speak English. One day Teacher Anya Enright told me that she is building a team of female leaders for “Write her Future” grant by Lancôme. She loves to see her students keep study English. I said to my teacher that I would like to join her female team, called “Dreaming Big”. For me, this is a wonderful opportunity to learn English on Voxy platform. It is self- paced study and helpful program which is suitable for me at this moment. I think I have strong self-discipline. I must be good time management for study English within one year. I want to see my outcome at the end of this program. I realized that I have a goal in my life- No fear to speak English!
