The Distance Learning Program Coordinator is responsible for the enrollment and onboarding of adult learners seeking support with foundational skills or GED/HiSET test preparation through distance learning provided by ProLiteracy New Readers Press. This position guides students through registration, orientation, diagnostic assessment, and class placement, equipping them for success in their educational journey.
Support adult learners from distance learning enrollment through program completion by providing coaching, outreach, and support with online learning platforms. This position focuses on improving student persistence, engagement, retention, and completion. The specialist also works collaboratively with tutors and partners to identify barriers to student success and develop retention strategies.
Make a difference helping adult learners change their lives by completing a high school equivalency program! ProLiteracy New Readers Press is seeking several Distance Learning Tutors to provide 1-hour live online classes to small groups of adult learners working towards High School Equivalency in the United States.
The Professional Learning Manager develops, coordinates, and delivers professional learning opportunities and resources for adult literacy practitioners, including facilitating training, developing courses, and supporting external presenters and subject matter experts. The role also manages professional development projects from planning through completion while collaborating with internal staff and external partners to ensure learning experiences are engaging, relevant, and responsive to the needs of the adult literacy field.
