We bring together the leaders and innovators in adult education to learn from each other and advance our collective impact. Join us.
We are passionate about leading the adult literacy field to the best practices for program and student success. This is why every two years we host our national conference to share the latest instructional trends, up-to-date research, and expert-led panel discussions on policy and innovation to influence practice and build program capacity.
Block out October 6–9, 2024, and join us at our 2024 Conference on Adult Education at the Baltimore Marriott Waterfront in Baltimore, MD. We invite you to submit a workshop proposal to join us as a presenter.

As leading champions for the adult literacy field, we drew hundreds of practitioners, researchers, and advocates to our 2022 conference in San Antonio, Texas. After the pandemic delayed the conference for a year, everyone was excited to finally be together in person.
The 2022 conference featured more than 110 professional learning workshops; an awards luncheon honoring innovative programs, tutors, and students making progress in adult education; and networking events to learn from and have fun with one another. It was a true celebration of everyone’s efforts to advance adult literacy everywhere.
By building the capacity of the smallest community-based basic education programs to the largest workforce development organizations, ProLiteracy can support adults at every stage of their literacy journey. We support every program with what they need to go all the way.
