The International Journal of Literacy, Language, and Numeracy
Published three times per year by ProLiteracy in collaboration with Georgia State University, ALE informs practitioners, researchers, policymakers, and funders about best practices in adult literacy, numeracy, and English language education in publicly funded, community and volunteer-based programs in a wide range of contexts.
The journal’s mission is to publish research on adult basic and secondary education and transitions to college and career programs. Each issue includes research articles as well as timely content such as resource reviews, opinion pieces, and debates and discussions.

We invite authors to submit articles or research for future issues.
Submissions should be in Times Roman 12 point font, double-spaced with one-inch margins, and formatted in APA 6th edition style. For full details, see the author guidelines.

We are seeking submissions for a Special Issue of Adult Literacy Education that connect research, practice, and policy to advance understanding of technology-based learning for adults, as well as challenges related to research in adult education settings.
