About This Course
One important premise of adult learning theory is that adults learn best when what they are learning is put in the context of their everyday lives and experiences. For language, this means that adult students will learn a new language best when it is presented in the context of the issues students encounter every day and when they have an opportunity to apply their new language skills to address these issues.
