APPLICATION GUIDELINES

Introduction

ProLiteracy’s Mobile Learning Fund provides grants to programs in the form of licenses or subscriptions for digital instructional products available from New Readers Press, ProLiteracy’s publishing division.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for a Mobile Learning Fund grant, the applicant organization must:

  1. Intend to implement requested digital solutions from New Readers Press within 30 days of onboarding
  2. Learners must stay active at least 2 hours per week
  3. Answer all questions on the application
  4. Be willing to share progress information quarterly, if requested

Mobile Learning Fund Award Requirements

Prior to delivery of digital product licenses/subscriptions, Mobile Learning Fund grant recipients must sign a brief Letter of Agreement that details the conditions under which the grant is being awarded.

Grant recipients must agree to share product progress data trends, as needed, as well as complete a brief questionnaire after six months with information about their experiences with the digital products and their impact on learners. Personal student data will not be shared. Recipients may be asked to participate in mutually beneficial public relations and recognition activities.

Application Process

1. Sign in to ProLiteracy’s online grant portal to access the Mobile Learning Fund application. If you have not used ProLiteracy’s online grant portal previously, you will need to create an account first.

2. Complete the Mobile Learning Fund grant application and submit.

Questions about eligibility should be directed to MLF@proliteracy.org prior to submitting an application.

Application Deadline and Notification

There is no application deadline. Applications are welcomed at any time. Upon submittal, applications will be reviewed, and you will receive notification of acceptance or rejection within one month.

Should your organization’s application be accepted, you will receive detailed information and instructions to get your learners started with your new digital products.
