Aarthi Anand

Aarthi is counsel in the New York office of Cahill Gordon & Reindel LLP where she focuses her practice on intellectual property matters. Aarthi is amongst the few attorneys qualified in the U.S. (New York, California, District of Columbia), the U.K. (Solicitor), and India. She studied law at the University of Oxford as a Rhodes Scholar, at the NYU School of Law, and in India. 

Aarthi advises on the intellectual property aspects of banking and financing transactions and mergers and acquisitions. She counsels global financial institutions and technology companies in connection with cryptocurrencies, NFTs, payments, blockchain, artificial intelligence, and fintech.  

Aarthi has moderated panels on artificial intelligence and fintech, been invited by, among others, the United Nations to speak at international conferences, and delivered lectures in the United States, Europe, and Asia.
