In this video Helaine W. Marshall, from Long Island University-Hudson, introduces a lesson model that teachers can use for remote education. The Synchronous Online Flipped Learning Approach (SOFLA) blends flipped learning with online instruction.

In the SOFLA model, learners independently complete online lessons that provide initial instruction on key concepts. Marshall shares the steps to create lessons, describe an example of SOFLA in practice, and answer participants’ questions.
