About This Course
In this course you will learn why the services your local literacy program provides to adult literacy and English language learners are so valuable to your community. You’ll have an opportunity to hear from adult students and volunteers. And finally, you’ll learn about the great volunteer opportunities available to you—serving as a volunteer tutor to teach someone to read or speak English or in a completely different capacity as a board member, event organizer, or multimedia specialist.
